Years lived in District 14

I was a teacher for 25 years. I retired about 5 years ago, and I went into real estate consultation after that. I became a BMFPD firefighter 2 ½ years ago. At the present I am an engineer, and I am also rated for both wildland & structure firefighting. 

As for becoming a BMFPD Board Member, I love our District and I want to make a greater contribution to it than I already have. I became a firefighter originally because I wanted to give back to our community by making it safer and stronger. As the years have gone on and my life has changed (giving me more personal time), I realized when I saw that a position on the Board arose that I would like to further deepen my participation & involvement in our District by becoming a Board member.
