Shutting Down the Pump

Follow these steps when discontinuing pump operation:

• Make sure foam system has been deactivated properly (flushed, and tank select to "Off")
• Turn throttle down all the way
• Turn off discharge valves
• Flip toggle switch from "Run" to "Stop"
• Turn Engine Start key to off position.
• The pump pressure gauge will read a positive pressure until you drain the gauge. Move the Gauge Drain switch to "Open" position, allow water to drain, then move back to "Close" position.
• In the winter time, it is wise to drain the pump to prevent freezing. Move the Pump Drain switch to "Open" position, allow water to drain, then move back to "Close" position.
• Turn the main battery power switch to "Off" when not using the pump or vehicle.
