TBD

Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District will be conducting its first 2015 Neighborhood Fire Drill on [TBD].  All residents living in the areas named above will receive a “Reverse 911” Everbridge automated phone call to all phones with land lines and all phones where residents have entered their cell and other numbers at http://www.boulderoem.com/  (click on “sign up for emergency messages”). MORE

Listen carefully to the entire message.  The system will allow you to hear the message a second time.  They will announce that this is a TEST of the emergency evacuation system and they will tell you the evacuation route you are to follow and the destination.  BMFPD personnel will be visibly present on the evacuation route roads.  Please drive slowly and carefully.

At the destination, Chief John Benson will conduct a briefing on summer emergency procedures (fire and flood) and will answer questions.  The entire Drill should be complete within 2 hours, well before noon.

You will soon be receiving a post card with this information.  Please start your preparations now – think about putting together (or refreshing) your evacuation supplies in case of a real emergency.  Review these websites for more information:

Residents living on Deer Trail and other parts of Boulder Heights not listed above are not included in this Drill.

Have a safe Fourth of July.  You will see fire department personnel patrols each evening July 3-5.
