Years lived in District: 5

I'm running for the BMFPD Board as part of our family's growing commitment to the local community and due to our passion for the firefighters' role in protecting our homes, neighbors, and pets.  I currently chair the Department's Third Arm, which provides traffic management during accidents and wildfire emergencies and evacuation resources for firefighters, residents needing special assistance, and pets.  My spouse, Gail, is a BMFPD firefighter who was named "Rookie of the Year" early in her service.

In serving on CU's "Public Interest Internship Experience" Advisory Board, I assist undergraduates seeking paid summer internships working with non-profit organizations and assist CU staff in expanding and managing this high profile endeavor.

My professional duties are in the financial consulting world, providing fee-only, retainer-based planning services to wealthy families.  My MBA, CPA, & CFP academic background serves me in both my employment and volunteer activities.  If elected to the Board, I will offer my knowledge of finance, accounting, and the BMFPD organization to further the Department's mission.
